Angry Taxpayer goes all al-Qaeda on IRS

AUSTIN, Texas - A man upset with the Internal Revenue Service set fire to his home, got into his small plane and crashed it Thursday into a multistory office building that houses federal tax employees, authorities said.

At least two people were injured in the crash and a third person who worked in the building was unaccounted for, fire officials said. The crash caused a fire that sent black smoke billowing from the seven-story Echelon Building.

Federal law enforcement officials said they were investigating whether the pilot crashed on purpose in an effort to blow up IRS offices.

Wow. A lot of people hate the IRS, but this is a little overboard, don’t you think? Apparently, this kamikaze-ing son-of-a bitch left a message on his company’s website before channeling his inner bin Laden, saying that violence was the only answer. (He’s not the only one with this philosophy. Remember this guy from the great state of New Hampshire?)

This nutcase says he lost a lot of money because of the IRS (who hasn’t?), but lighting your own house on fire and executing a mini 9/11?? Really? How does that help the situation? Now you have no house, no plane, and if you’re not dead already, you’re gonna be spending the rest of your life in the slammer. Was this little stunt, worth it? I mean the guy owned his own plane, he couldn’t have been doing that badly.
